HOW TO PREPARE BEFORE HAVING AN APPRAISAL PERFORMED

Step 1-  Relax, Take a Deep Breath, we appraise hundreds of homes each year. This is a simple process, no need to worry. 

Step 2-  Try to make sure there is access to all areas throughout the house, including attics and crawl spaces, the appraiser will need to see the entire house.

Step 3-  The appraiser will take interior and exterior photos. If there is heavy snow, please clear a pathway so that these photos can be taken with ease.

Step 4-  Make a list that references improvements that you've made to the house and property.
